Australian Plastic Card Company’s Red E Group Division proudly celebrated their Bronze Medal win at the prestigious 23rd National Print Award night held on Friday 12th May at the Sydney Convention Centre on Darling Harbour. Red E Group is the first Australian Company ever to be recognised and awarded a medal utilising Digital Printing Technology in the manufacturer of plastic cards. Cards are able to be printed with variable imagery and personalised at the same time. The medal winning entry consisted of a variety of highly personalised ticketed cards used by Clipsal Motor Sports for passes into their V8 Super Cars Race Track event. “This award endorses our Company’s team of outstanding people whose continuing excellence to the quality of our plastic card products has meant we have been able to become leaders of technology within our Industry” Production Director Charisse Clarke said. “Our highly skilled team bring together the technology and innovative production methods used by Red E Group, offering much more flexibility and benefits for our Clients compared to the traditionally manufactured PVC plastic cards” The technology has meant that clients now see an actual card before their job goes into manufacturing, a much appreciated benefit especially for on-sellers.
